Day After the Revealing

Baby E...good morning! You kept me up last night from 4-5:30am. I'm not sure if I was excited, hungry or just really going hormone crazy. Surely not this early...:)

Your reavealing was wonderful. Right before we pulled the first pizza out of the oven, Olivia went and put the shirt on your big brother Niko. He ran out and went right to my mom, like it was rehearsed. :) She looked at it for what seemed like forever. She finally looked up at me and went from utter confusion to tears in the matter of 1 second. Jason was in awe of how that could even happen. I'm not sure he gets it yet. :) I have a video. I will show you.

Hopefully you will grow to know God but your dad is the only other one I have shared this with. The day before I found out that I was pregnant there was this comforting voice in my head that just said matter of factly, "You are pregnant". I'm not joking, I swear. That is what triggered me to go to the store and buy all of those tests. Can you believe it? It's amazing. I've heard a similar voice only one other time in my life. Amazing.

Today, I am going to go open a bank account so I can stop hoarding money in a piggy bank designated for you. I know you won't appreciate it, but I am buying you the sweetest, most amazing stroller ever. You are going to be riding in style. For sure. I have been saving money since we started trying for you, five months ago, in a big piggy bank. I haven't allowed myself to count how much money is in it in fear that I will be more likely to go on a shopping spree for you!

Let's chit chat about my early symptoms. Nothing has been terribly noticible. The biggest thing is my joints feel a little funky. My left hip has been feeling like it has a little pinched nerve. My other joints just feel achy. I went to Maggies moms jewelry party on August 21st. I came home from there around 11am. I went straight up to bed, took off my sandles and fell asleep for 4 hours. In the middle of the day!! Now, I am a very avid sleeper. I sleep all of the time. I love naps. I hope you will too. :) However, a four hour nap, at that time. Not normal.

This past Sunday, we had family dinner at my parents house which you will also come to know. (Can't wait!) I came home from that feeling like I had gotten hit my 1,000 little toddlers on their big wheels. I was achey and I felt like I could throw up at any moment. I would have been a much more happy camper if I would have known what I know now.

Must get in the shower. Do I have to start taking showers that aren't steaming hot?? Hmmm...hopefully not for a while.

<3 Your Momma
